Festival Members

Hay Festival is a registered charity that brings readers and writers together to share stories and ideas in sustainable events live and online. Your support is vital to enable us to continue to present the very best experiences. With your support we celebrate and showcase the best artistic talent, attract the world’s most respected thinkers and speakers, and of course, deliver learning and engagement opportunities to inspire the next generation.

We value our Members as part of our community. As well as supporting us financially, they contribute ideas and recommendations to the Festival itself. Membership lasts for 12 months from the date joined and costs £36 for single or £60 for double membership. Double memberships are designed for people who live at the same address and book together. All memberships are assigned to a single account.

Single and Double memberships can be upgraded to include a priority booking period for the Hay Festival Families programme, at an additional cost of £10.
