H.E. Razan Khalifa Al Mubarak has devoted her career to environmental conservation. Mrs. Al Mubarak is the Managing Director of the Mohamed Bin Zayed Species Conservation Fund – one of the world’s most significant philanthropic endowments supporting species conservation in over 160 countries. Under her leadership, the MBZ Fund has garnered global attention for demonstrating best practice in the sustainability of their endowment-based funding model.
In recognition of her global role in the field of environment and sustainability, in 2018, she was selected by the World Economic Forum as one of the top 100 young sector leaders who contribute to building a more sustainable future for humankind.
Razan Al Mubarak also serves as Managing Director of the Environment Agency Abu Dhabi and Emirates Nature – WWF and currently serves several executive roles in various environmental organisations in the UAE and is a public spokesperson for environmental and conservation issues in the UAE.
