An Emirati publisher and writer, founder and general manager of Dar Kuttab Publishing 2010, Executive Director of the Arab Children's Program at Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, and Secretary General of the Emirates Award for Fiction.
Al Shehhi established Kuttab Café (cultural café and bookshop) in 2012 at Uptown Mirdiff in Dubai. Uncle Sam & My Self was published, as well as a children's story series (The Dairy of Moshagheb), a weekly column in Al Etihad newspaper, and also in the Gulf News. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Sciences and a Master's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Lacrosse in the United States of America.
