AlMenhaly is an Emirati media personality with 17 years of experience in journalism. She is the current Editor in Chief of National Geographic Al Arabiya magazine. She previously worked as Deputy Editor of Al Ittihad newspaper, and has released several books including The World as a Woman, An Eye on Events and Stories. AlMenhali was awarded the Tarim Omran Tarim Award for best column in 2004 and is a founding member of the Journalists Association. She is also a member of the Emirates Writers Union, and a member of the Geographers Association.
