The Medellin Philharmonic Orchestra is a professional orchestra founded in 1983 whose main purpose is to transform the local and national territory with symphonic music, focussing on local performances. The Medellin Philharmonic Orchestra is a young orchestra which has become a platform for those musicians who have been professionally trained in the city and the country, and who have found in the orchestra the best way to practice their profession and, furthermore, to be leaders within the city’s musical ecosystem.
