Andri Snaer MAGNASON

magnason-andri-snaer (Reykjavik, 1973) Andri Snaer Magnason is an Islandic author who, over the course of his career, has published novels, stories, poetry, drama and non-fiction. His books have been published in over 30 countries. His work has been recognized with awards including the 1999 Icelandic Literary Prize for Blue Planet, which he won again in 2006 for Dreamland, a criticism of the country’s industrial and energy policies. Former vice-president of the Icelandic Writers’ Union and board member of the Reykjavik Culture House. Magnason was also a candidate to the Icelandic presidential elections in 2016.
