Verónica MURGUÍA

murguia-veronica Verónica Murguía is a writer, translator and literature teacher. She was born in Mexico City in 1960 and studied History at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the UNAM. Her first novel, Auliya, published in 1990, has been translated into German, Portuguese and Russian, and her book of short stories El ángel de Nicolás has an Italian version. With the novel Loba, she won the Gran Angular prize in Spain in 2013. Her most recent novel, El cuarto jinete, was published in 2021. She has also written a dozen books for children and young adults.
