Founded in November 2021 with the aim of letting Queretaro women working in the theatre engage in useful conversations on topics as varied as artistic concerns, the exchange of knowledge, and professional frustrations. La noche de las alienadas is the group’s first stage production and will involve fifteen performers. The work deals with female madness and the stigma of hysteria, which have served as a pretext for the confinement, silence, exile and marginalization of women.
