Richard Evans has produced graphic work for a variety of artistes including The Doors, Pink Floyd, Paul McCartney, Robert Plant, Pete Townshend, Bill Wyman, The Kinks, and Van Morrison – plus album covers for a diverse range of musical tastes and genres. He’s been art director for The Who for over 35 years, designing anything and everything for them, from album covers to tour merchandise, his first assignment being a centrefold nude photograph of Keith Moon for a tour programme – talk about a baptism by fire!
