(Palestine, 1978). Arab poet, journalist and literary critic, considered by the New York Review of Books to be “one of the foremost Arabic-language poets”. His work has been translated into more than twenty languages. Darwish is the founder and director of various cultural and artistic projects throughout the Arab world and is a literary consultant for the Palestine Literature Festival.
