Martin ROWSON

rowson-martin Martin Rowson, artist and adaptor of The Life and Opinions of Tristram Shandy, Gentleman (SelfMadeHero) is one of Britain's most-loved and best-known satirists. His distinctively left-wing, scathing cartoon style of satire means that his work is published regularly in the Guardian and the Daily Mirror, and has earned him the honorary title of London’s 'Cartoonist Laureate'.

Rowson has penned several novels, including Snatches, Stuff (Samuel Johnson Prize, longlisted) and The Dog Allusion: Gods, Pets and How to Be Human. His graphic novel credits include FUCK: The Human Odyssey (Johnathan Cape) and The Waste Land (Picador). He is currently adapting Gulliver’s Travels into graphic novel (Atlantic).
