(Mexico) He has a Law degree from Mexico’s Autonomous University and a Master’s in Cinematography from the London Film School. He has co-produced a number of films, including the international success Like Water for Chocolate. He has acted as cultural attaché of the Mexican Embassy in the UK, Sweden and the United States, and worked as Director of the Mexican Cinematography Institute (IMCINE) and the Mexican Cultural Institute in Washington. He has worked as a producer and director for Canal 11, as an assistant production manager on TV Azteca and Assistant Director of the National Fine Art Institute. He has lectured on film and television at Mexico’s Universidad Nacional Autónoma, Universidad Iberoamericana and Anáhuac University.
