Social Communication graduate from the Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, he has a Master’s in Communication from the New School for Social Research in New York. He works on matters related to communication in development, education and the media. He spent almost six years living and working in Brazil. He was the Executive Manager of the Gabriel García Márquez Foundation for New Ibero-American Journalism, based in Cartagena, and Rector of the Caribbean campus of the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University.
