(Nottingham, UK, 1968). Writer, The Guardian journalist, and author of the #1 New York Times best-selling book, Collusion: Secret Meetings, Dirty Money and How Russia Helped Donald Trump Win. Collusion was published in November 2017 simultaneously in ten countries, including in a Spanish language edition. 

He is the author of five previous non-fiction books, published in 30 languages. They include A Very Expensive Poison: The Definitive Story of the Murder of Litvinenko and Russia's War with the West; The Snowden Files: The Inside Story of the World's Most Wanted Man; and Mafia State: How One Reporter Became an Enemy of the Brutal New Russia. He co-authored WikiLeaks: Inside Julian Assange's War on Secrecy. Two of his books, Snowden and WikiLeaks, have been turned into movies.

Harding has reported as a correspondent from Delhi, Berlin and Moscow and covered wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya. Between 2007 and 2011 he was the Guardian's Moscow bureau chief.
