Nicolas Dot-Pouillard graduated from the High Institute of Social Sciences from Paris, in History and Civilization, in 2005. He gained his PhD in December 2009 with a thesis on "Utopias, Third World Tendencies and Theology of Non-renunciation" which analyzes the case of Lebanon and Palestine. In 2010, he was Professor of Political Sciences at the University of the Holy Spirit of Kaslik (USEK). He is currently a researcher at Ifpo Beirut. His articles on Middle East politics are published in different scientific journals and he is a collaborator of the Monde diplomatique. He is co-administrator of the Carnets de l’IFPO (ifpo.hypotheses.org).
