MICHAEL COX is Professor Emeritus of International Relations and director of the LSE Ideas think tank at the London School of Economics. In addition, Cox has held several senior positions in the field of international relations and is a member of the editorial board of several academic journals in international relations, as well as the editor of two series of books about the Cold War and global politics respectively.
