(Mexico, 1969) Writer of both fiction and non-fiction, he is the author of Teoría y práctica de La Habana (2017), a work of autofiction about nightlife in the Cuban capital; Conversación en Princeton con Rubén Gallo, co-written with Mario Vargas Llosa (2017); Proust’s Latin Americans (2014); and Freud’s Mexico: Into the Wilds of Psychoanalysis (2015), among other books. He is also a member of the board of the Sigmund Freud Museum in Vienna and is currently a professor at the University of Princeton.
