(Lima, 1973). He has published the stories El palacio de la felicidad, the book of interviews Puesto de confianza, and the non-fiction historical novel Una historia breve, extraña y brutal. He founded and directed the magazine Buensalvaje, was editor of the El Dominical supplement of the newspaper El Comercio, and has been head of the Fondo Editorial del Congreso del Perú press. Today he is a member of the columnists’ collective Jugo de Caigua and is head of the Peruvian Fondo de Cultura Económica.
