Juan Carlos PÉREZ

Colombian journalist, multimedia editor at BBC Mundo, the BBC’s Spanish-language website, and ex-Mexico and Central America bilingual correspondent. Winner of the Simón Bolívar Prize for Best Investigation and the SIP’s Harmodio Arias Prize for Human Rights for the supplement Desplazados, Humillados y Ofendidos. He was the first Colombian journalist to cover the Human Rights and Peace Processes proceedings in the 1990s.
