JAVIER RODRÍGUEZ MARCOS has published several collections of poems, among them Shipwrecks, Mientras arden, Frágil (Ojo Crítico Award for Poetry, awarded by Spanish state broadcaster RNE), along with La vida secreta. His work has been included in several anthologies of poetry. His literary output also includes travel books and essays. He also writes for the Babelia cultural supplement of leading Spanish daily El País.
