A Doctor of Genetics and Cellular Biology. He is the author of the books El ADN dictador (2018) and Un día en la vida de un virus (2020). He is a researcher and lecturer at the Universidad Autónoma in Madrid and has been contributing for some years to the Spanish radio sports programme Tiempo de Juego, giving the most important scientific news each week, in an informal tone.
