Sociologist from the Universidad Católica del Perú with a doctorate in Latin American Literature from Brown University (United States). He was the Director of the Books and Reading Department at the Peruvian Ministry of Culture (2015 and 2018) and has taught Literature and Creative Writing at universities in different countries. His bibliography includes three novels and a work of non-fiction. He is currently the Head of Institution at the National Library of Peru.
