(Spain, 1974) Much of her career has been spent in the Unites States, where she did a doctorate in Hispanic Literatures at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, and later moved to Lehigh University (Pennsylvania). For 13 years she combined lecturing with managing the Humanities Center and other academic positions at the university there, while also researching and publishing. In January 2016 she decided to bring an end to her university career in the United States and return to Spain.
She is now a full-time writer and contributes to publications such as La Marea and El Correo. She has published the non-fiction work El eco de los disparos: Cultura y memoria de la violencia (Galaxia Gutenberg, 2016) and in September 2017 she released the novel Mejor la ausencia, also with Galaxia Gutenberg.
