(Lima, Peru). He studied at the Universidad Católica del Peru, where he graduated in Literature and Law and later worked as a professor. He has been a journalist for press, radio and television. He edited the magazine Debate; has been general editor of Expreso newspaper; editor of the weekly magazine Once and director of the television programme Panorama. His reports have covered terrorism, drug trafficking and electoral campaigns. He is the author of the books Con ojos de testigo (1996), Ojo por Ojo (2003), Morir dos veces (2016) and Abimael (2017). His most recent work, El camino a Rusia (2018) tells the story of the Peruvian football team’s road to the Russia World Cup.
