Director of documentaries, she has been working on social issues for over 10 years. She has covered themes ranging from the colombian armed conflict and sexual violence as a weapon of war, to more cultural subjects e.g. the spread of Cumbia rhythm throughout the world. Two times winner of the Colombian National Award of Journalism - Simon Bolivar. Recently she directed a documentary series for televsion of 13 chapters on the subject of the end of the world: 2012: Crónicas del Fin del Mundo. She premiered her first documentary feature To the Amazon.
