(Tarrasa, Barcelona, 1970) A graduate in Biology from the University of Leon, she did further studies in Scotland and Paris. She has published ten poetry books under the pseudonym Isabel Conejo and has won prizes such as the Hiperión Poetry Prize (2005), Baeza’s Antonio Machado Prize (2007), the Ojo Crítico Prize and the Mexican Manuel Acuña Prize (2017). Her books for children and young adults include the Pizca de Sal collection and others, such as La casa de muñecas and Los instantes perfectos. Together with Javier Pelegrín she has published more than twenty young adult novels, which have been translated into a number of different languages and have won awards such as the Barco de Vapor award (2008), the Anaya Prize (2015), and two Templis awards for the La Llave del Tiempo and Odio el Rosa sagas.
