Barcelona-based neurologist. He has been combining clinical activity, teaching and research for more than forty years. He is, among other things, Associate Lecturer in Neurology at Barcelona University and was chairman of the Spanish Neurology Society’s Pain Study Group from 2004 to 2008. He was also made Principal Researcher at the Catalan Health Institute and Bellvitge University Hospital’s Fundación August Pi-Sunyer and is a member of Neurología’s editorial committee. He has just published his book Permiso para quejarse.
