Her highly regarded large scale public installations include “Noviembre 6 y 7,” The Palace of Justice, Bogotá (2002), The 8th International Istanbul Biennial (2003), “Abyss,” Castello di Rivoli, Turin (2005), “Shibboleth,”Turbine Hall, Tate Modern (2007), and “Acción de Duelo,” Plaza de Bolívar, Bogotá (2007). Her work has been included in numerous group exhibitions: ”Castello di Rivoli, Turin (2005); “The 80s: A Topology,” Museu Serralves, Porto (2007); and “América Latina: arte y confrontación, 1910-2010,” Museu del Palacio de Bellas Artes, Mexico City (2010-2011). She was the recipient of the Ordway Prize (2005), the Premio “Velázquez” de las Artes Plásticas (2010)and the 9th Hiroshima Art Prize (2014). A retrospective of her work opened in 2015 at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago and traveled to the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York and the Pérez Art Museum, Miami. Harvard Art Museums opened a solo exhibition of her work in November 2016.
