The search for Paradise is as old as humankind. But in the 21st century the solution is clear: the best place in the world is a book. In it you can find the treasure map, the keys to the treasure box, instructions on how to arrive and the most complete combination of dreams and hopes. I have been to Hay Festivals for over 5 years and for more than 30 I have been taking pictures of writers all over the world, and sometimes I imagine that I create a cartography of literature, a great word atlas. For me it is an honour to present, for the first time in Latin America, this ‘Around the World’ with the Hay Festival in 80 portraits.

Photography Exhibition with Daniel Mordzinski in Bogotá

An important anthological exhibition by Daniel Mordzinski, which brings together the most important faces of Latin American and French literature in the Museum of Modern Art in Bogotá and in the Alliance Française in Chico

For the past three decades, Daniel Mordzinski (Buenos Aires, 1960) has portrayed – with an unprecedented complicity and intimacy – the main protagonists of world literature in Spanish.

Navigating through Mordzinski's literary cartography means delving into territory that transcends novels, essays and poems. Through the faces and unique situations that he presents us with, his work invites us to examine the multiple relationships between the literature of France and Latin America. The two sides of the Atlantic are united forever in his lens.
