The Return of Oxfam Bookfest

After the phenomenal success of the first Oxfam Bookfest, Oxfam returned in 2010 for more book-based brilliance.

Oxfam Bookfest 2010 (3–17 July) was a page-turning, poverty-busting, book-hugging celebration.

Hundreds of attention-grabbing events took place across the UK, and Oxfam raised hundreds of thousands of extra poverty-busting pounds.

From Inverness to Plymouth, Camarthen to Cambridge, Oxfam shops hosted a myriad book events, competitions, auctions and local family fun, celebrating all that the charity does with books. The events included the Poet Laureate in Manchester, the Big Book Fair in Birmingham, Barbara Nadel in Hebden Bridge and much, much more.
