Benjamin Moser (United States) is a writer, editor and translator. He has been a columnist for Harper’s Magazine and The New York Times Book Review, and has contributed to publications such as The New Yorker, Condé Nast Traveler and The New York Review of Books. His book Why This World. A Biography of Clarice Lispector, which has become a standard work of reference on this subject, was shortlisted for the National Book Critics Circle Award. Moser’s most recent book is an acclaimed biography of another major 20th-century author: Sontag. Her Life and Work.
