Christopher Acosta, the writer and Latina Noticias journalist, is the author of the bestselling Plata como cancha (2021), the biography of the controversial politician and magnate César Acuña. This year he returns with Presidentes por accidente, a book about the equally controversial figures Pedro Castillo and Dina Boluarte. Acosta not only portrays the current and former presidents, but also examines the decisions they have taken as heads of State and the implications these have had on the political and social lives of Peru, as well as the worrying stories of corruption, intrigue and betrayal that surround them. Acosta will talk to Cecilia Valenzuela.
