John Donaldson’s Unity celebrates the music of the late South African pianist and composer Bheki Mseleku – 'a subtly glowing blend of African township music, church music, eastern meditative chants and boppish city-streets jazz' – John Fordham. Joined by special guests Quentin Collins and legendary alto saxophonist Peter King, they each bring an energy and maturity of expression to a performance that is skillfully delivered.
