What We Know About Dementia

Dr Huw Morris is a Neurologist and Geneticist at Cardiff University and the Royal Gwent Hospital, Aneurin Bevan Health Board. In his talk he will discuss the personal and social impact of dementia, how different types of dementia affect the brain and various aspects of behaviour and thinking. He will describe some recent new discoveries and the prospects for new treatments in dementia He works on a range of dementias and movement disorders.
