Local agronomist Jonathon Harrington leads a visit to the Welsh Venison Centre run by Andrew and Elaine Morgan. The farm has a herd of 150-200 breeding deer, a flock of 500 breeding ewes, some beef cattle on the grazing areas and grows a range of arable crops including wheat, barley and oats. There will be a walk round the farm when it is expected that some of the deer will be calving, and a chance to see and handle some of the lambs.
Please wear suitable footwear and waterproof clothing in case of inclement weather. Map included with ticket.
