This year we are delighted to be participating in our sister festival, Istanbul Tanpinar Literature Festival - ITEF. 

Ian Rankin and Louis de Bernieres will appear as part of the Hay Festival series at ITEF, run in partnership with the British Council.

ITEF 2012 "City and Fear" runs from 1–4 October 2012 in Istanbul, and then between 4–7 October in Ankara, Izmir and Hatay. More than 60 authors from 22 different countries will present the finest Turkish and international literature during readings and discussion events.

ITEF has been developed in cooperation with Literature Across Frontiers and with support from the Culture Programme of the EU. The Festival is in partnership with various international literature festivals including the Hay Festival, Copenhaguen Literature Festival, Manchester Literature Festival among others.
