Featuring festival stars. The Very Reverend Geoffrey Marshall, Dean of Brecon, will lead the service, with Preacher Canon Brendan O'Malley. There will be a full Cathedral Choir conducted by the Director of Music, Mark Duthie.

Brecon Jazz is pleased to welcome the great master of the clarinet, Acker Bilk. Known for his bowler hat and stripy waistcoat as well as his wonderful hits, the jazz veteran has been performing for sixty years and is still very much recognized for his unique style of clarinet playing.

One of Europe’s leading Indian brass bands, creating their own unique style by combining popular Indian melodies together with the powerful rhythms of the Dhol. Based on traditional brass bands from the Indian sub-continent called Band Baja’s, they’re guaranteed to create a carnival atmosphere everywhere they go.

Keith and Julie are acknowledged as two of the most distinctive and innovative musicians in jazz and improvised music. They have been working together in large ensembles, and have also won acclaim from the world of contemporary classical music. As they enter their fortieth year of marriage and making music together they present a concert of spontaneous composition.
