Featuring festival stars. The Very Reverend Geoffrey Marshall, Dean of Brecon, will lead the service, with Preacher Canon Brendan O'Malley. There will be a full Cathedral Choir conducted by the Director of Music, Mark Duthie.

A second performance from this sensational young jazz star.A gifted trumpeter with a beautiful, expressive tone, Halsall’s music draws on his love of the transcendental spiritual and modal jazz of Alice and John Coltrane. He has won himself fans from Gilles Peterson to Mojo and BBC Music Magazine. Halsall’s music is thoughtful, elegiac and explorative. But while imbued with a sense of history, the young trumpeter and DJ nevertheless brings a contemporary bounce to his beautiful music.
