Hay revellers embarked on an adventure into an enchanted world this evening at Spell Songs, a musical response to The Lost Words by Robert Macfarlane and Jackie Morris. The charming eight-piece, made up of folk and world musicians Karine Polwart, Julie Fowlis, Seckou Keita, Kris Drever, Kerry Andrew, Rachel Newton, Beth Porter and Jim Molyneux, beguiled the audience with their endearing body of work including songs Acorn, Ghost Town and Dandelion. Their performance was accompanied by live drawing on stage by Jackie Morris.
