Benefits of Joining

The Friends of the Hay Festival was formed in 1988 to support and raise money for the Hay Festival. For £20.00 Single Membership or £34.00 Double you can enjoy many benefits and make a vital contribution to success of Hay Festival.

Friends enjoy priority booking, use of the Friends entrances and the Friends café on the festival site, dedicated Friends area of the website, newsletters, and special offers. All sponsors become Friends automatically. Annual Donation: £20 single membership, £34 double membership.

Subscriptions

Membership lasts for 12 months from the time of joining. Your annual subscription enables the Hay Festival to plan ahead. With this in mind you may like to consider renewing your annual membership by standing order, if so please complete the relevant part of the membership form.

We can send the membership pack to you to present personally or direct to the recipient.

Patrons

Friends of the Hay FestivalIn addition to the benefits of the Friends of the Festival, Patrons are listed in the programme and on the website. Patrons get free passes to the Winter Weekend and London Season. Patrons also receive a free parking pass for the Festival Site. Subscriptions: £250.

Hay Fever Club

For just £5 you can enjoy priority booking for Hay Fever events, newsletters and make a vital contribution of the success of Hay Fever in the future. To join the club you must be under 16 years of age. Application forms can be found in the Hay Fever Programme. Visit the Friends desk in the box office for more information about Friends, Hay Fever Club and Patrons.

Gift aid

Your subscription donations can be increased at no extra cost to you by taking advantage of the Gift Aid scheme. Gift Aid allows charitable organisations to reclaim the tax on donations from UK taxpayers. Please tick the box on the Membership Form. Conact us if you would like more details about the scheme.

Volunteers

Let us know if you would like to get involved. We always welcome friends who would like to help with stewarding, accommodation and other activities connected with the festival. Please contact Lyndy Cooke at the Festival office.
