We are so excited about our young people's area this year.
As well as expanding to allow our great workshops onto site,
The Children's Zone will be full of free fun to keep you busy.
The Rainbow Fairies will drop in to visit, and there will be storytelling and art and craft activities every day. There'll be a quiet room with soft toys for little ones, and a private nursing area.
We are also lucky enough to have a whole library of children's books for you to browse and lots of competitions for you to get involved in.
As The Book People's Children's Zone runs on an informal, free basis, please note spaces are subject to availability on the day. Free activities will be listed here daily.
Bookstart Rhymetimes are fun, interactive sessions filled with songs and rhymes.
They are held all over the UK and are for babies, toddlers and children. Sharing nursery rhymes and songs allows children to enjoy rhyme and repetition and encourages early language and listening skills. .
There will be Rhymetimes held in the Zone everyday, come and join in, or print out some rhymes to use at home here.
