The Scribblers Tour

The Scribblers Tour hits the road every spring with a free programme of live events with writers and experts to develop students’ creative writing skills and broaden their horizons.

Focusing on literacy and the environment, a fantastic line-up of the best young people’s writers visit universities across the country between January and March, where they run interactive sessions for KS3 and KS4 students from all over Wales.

The Scribblers Writers Club

Hay Festival’s young writers group (12–17-year-olds) meets weekly at the Hay office to discuss the week’s news and books and eat an extraordinary amount of biscuits.

In between these two very important tasks, the group focuses on creating content for The Scribblers, a termly magazine published online and in print. The Scribblers themselves are involved in the entire publishing process, including the editing and design of the magazine.
