Carlo Daniel AGUILAR

Carlo Daniel Aguilar has been the Coordinator of the CUPI Investigative Journalism Centre at the Autonomous University of Querétaro (UAQ), since August 2018 and has lectured at the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences at the same university since 2011. He has a degree in Journalism and Communication from UAQ and received an honourable mention for his Master’s in Communication from UNAM, with the thesis “Uses of Facebook among Querétaro university students to strengthen their political culture”. Winner of first place in the thesis competition run by the National Council for the Teaching and Study of Communications, Master’s category, 2012. He was Coordinator of the Centro Universitario campus of UAQ’s Communication and Journalism degree from 2015 to 2018 and Head of Information at the weekly Tribuna de Querétaro, from 2011 to 2015, a publication where he also worked as a proof-reader (2008-2010) and reporter. He currently writes articles for El Universal Querétaro, the website EnLaLupa.com and presents the TvUAQ and Radio Universidad programme, Audiencias Creativas.
