Ulises BRAVO

This Communications graduate was born in Querétaro City in 1984. An audio-visual producer and performer, he has combined his profession with an interest in music that he has felt from an early age. As a child he studied electronic organ according to the Yamaha teaching system, and later piano at the J. Guadalupe Velázquez School of Music in Querétaro City. His interest in jazz music led him to play with various jazz groups, as well as bands that play in other genres ranging from rock and pop to Latin dance music. He was a member of El Callejón, and played important concerts with them, including the Pozos Blues, the Queretablues Festival and the Querétaro City Summer Jazz Festival. He has also played with figures such as Juan Alzate, as part of the Miguel Bernal Jiménez Music Festival in Morelia. His career has included composing jingles for the campaigns of political groups as well as for municipal authorities. Since 2015 he has been playing piano with the Mollete Jazz Band, which is preparing its first album release; he plays regularly in venues linked to the jazz scene in Querétaro.
