A History graduate from the UIA with a Master's Degree in the History of Mexico from UNAM’s Faculty of Philosophy and Letters. She is an academic at the Institute for Aesthetic Research and is currently the Technical Secretary in the Department of Cultural Dissemination at UNAM. She is the coordinator of the Children's Literature: a Door to Reading course that is taught at UNAM’s Institute of Philology. Her work involves the history and theory of children's literature. She has dedicated herself to this as an educator, teaching the History of Reading at the College of History, UNAM, as well as the subject History of Children's Literature as part of various courses and programmes. She has been a promotor of reading through courses, workshops and reading programmes for children. She is the author of La casa de Rosario and Pintura de los reinos, una guía familiar, books on history and art for children. She has published articles on the historiography of children's literature and has contributed to an official guide to recommended books for children and young people. She has participated in the dissemination of children's literature and art for children as part of museum educational programmes.
