She has a doctorate in Art History and Theory from the University of Essex (2007) and did post-doctoral studies at the UNAM’s Institute for Aesthetic Research. She has served as a lecturer at the University of Essex, Birkbeck College London and the Open University. She has also taught at the College of Philosophy, FFyL, UNAM; in the Department of General Studies, ITAM; and at the 17, Institute of Critical Studies. She is a visiting lecturer on the post-graduate Art History course at UNAM. She has published in various national and international journals in Greek, English, and Spanish. In 2010 she received CONACULTA/CENART Support for Research into Art and Media. She has translated around 90 texts by the French philosopher Jean-Luc Nancy. She has participated at the FIC and Aleph festivals, both organized by UNAM.
