She holds a Master’s degree in Management and Public Innovation and a degree in Journalism and Communication, specializing in Political Communication, from the Autonomous University of Queretaro. She has worked as a reporter, columnist and head of news for local newspapers and as News Co-editor for the local paper El Universal Querétaro; Head of News for the newspaper Diario de Querétaro; founding reporter of the Barroco cultural supplement of that same publication and reporter with the municipal and state government publication; also Head of News for the Plaza de Armas newspaper, where she served as founding editor of the cultural supplement aQROpolis, and collaborator in the Communications Department of ​​the National Institute of Anthropology and History. She has also taught Journalism, Writing, Investigative Journalism, Business Journalism, and Text Analysis and Production, as well as Cultural Dissemination Techniques, at higher and secondary education levels. She worked on the books Artistas queretanos: cinco años de entrevistas de Barroco (2010), Caminando con la Catrina, by Erik de Luna (2015) and La UAQ: lugar de sueños (2021). She is currently Coordinator of UAQ Web and Digital Strategy at the department that is responsible for the digital dissemination of the scientific, cultural and social work of the state's most important educational institution.
