Alejandra DÍAZ LOO

Alejandra Díaz Loo holds an MA in Applied Linguistics from the University of Leicester in the UK, and a BA in Education from the Universidad San Marcos in Peru. She also holds a BA in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Maryland, College Park, USA. At a very young age, she emigrated to the USA, where she spent her formative years, during which time she experienced migration first-hand. She has conducted research in the fields of critical discourse analysis and foreign language learning, and is currently a university lecturer and activist for women's rights and LGTBIQ+ people in Arequipa.
