She was born and lives in Mexicali, where she coordinates the international writers’ event Tiempo de Literatura and runs @habitaciones_propias, an online community where women from around the world share the spaces in which they create. She has written Que parezca un accidente (2018); Mientras que no te conté (2021), which was awarded the 20th Juan José Arreola National Short Story Prize; Llorar de fiesta (2022); Lo simple (2023), San Luis Potosí Amparo Dávila Short Story Prize, and La novia del león (2024). Her latest novel is Donde termina el verano, winner of the 2026 Biblioteca Breve Prize.
