Agnès DESARTHE

Agnès Desarthe is a French writer who has published numerous books for children, and has co-written with Geneviève Brisac an essay on Virginia Woolf. She has translated from English to French books by Loïs Lowry, Anne Fine, Cynthia Ozick, Jay McInerney and Virginia Woolf. She was awarded the Prix du Livre Inter for her novel Un secret sans importance, the prizes Marcel Pagnol and Virgin/version Femina for Le remplaçant and the Prix Renandot des Lycéens for Dans la nuit brune. Her novel Mangez-moi has been translated into 15 languages.
