Pedro MAIRAL (Argentina)
Began his career in Literature at the Universidad del Salvador, where he was Professor and Chair of English Literature. In 1996 he published the poetry collection Tigre como los pájaros (Mención Premio Fortabat). In 1998 he won the Premio Clarín de Novela for Una noche con Sabrina Love, which was adapted for cinema and translated into various languages. In 2001 he published a short story collection, Hoy temprano, and in 2003 a book of poetry, Consumidor final.
